Kelly Threadgill CEO and Creator

“Every child deserves the chance to build real mathematical understanding—to explore, question, and make sense of math in a way that sticks."

Kelly Threadgill, FORMER TEACHER

Why do so many kids give up on math before they ever really get started?

I spent 10 years in the classroom teaching 3rd, 4th, and 8th grade math in North Texas, years filled with laughter, learning, and more than a few moments of frustration. I watched bright, capable students approach math with hesitation, fear, and sometimes even defeat. Not because they weren’t smart or willing to try, but because math had stopped making sense.

They couldn’t see it. They couldn’t touch it. They couldn’t make it their own.

As I pursued my Master’s degree in Mathematics Education, one truth became clearer with every class, every paper, and every conversation:

Kids need to experience math to truly understand it.

Not just watch someone else do it. Not just memorize it.

They need to feel it in their hands, question it with curiosity, and explore it without fear.

That’s why I created Math Stackers®.

Hands on. Brains on.

Designed by a teacher who’s been in the trenches, Math Stackers® invites students to stack, test, compare, and discover how math works from the very beginning.

Whether they’re using our dense foam Math Stackers®, trying out our flat magnetic versions, or diving into the teacher-led lessons inside each Learning System & Math Stackers® U, kids are encouraged to take risks, ask questions, and think deeply, without fear of being wrong.

It’s designed to build math thinkers who don’t just memorize answers… they understand the why behind them.

Let’s build math thinkers together… one satisfying stack at a time.

We believe every child deserves the chance to build real mathematical understanding - to explore, question, and make sense of math in a way that sticks.
